I think it has some redeeming qualities but I have been in better places. I think it is really pricey living wise unless you are out of the radius of the city. I have lived here for quite a while (about 9 years) and I guess it's my fault I dont get out at all. I guess it's all my antisocial behavior. I'd rather visit here than live here.

So what is there to do for fun? Are there any clubs out there that are chill to hang out at?

Dragonfly seems to be popular and a few others downtown. Mid town is nice and pretty well lit at night and is also the gay district. Stallions is the most talked about gay club there. Nicks in New cumberland is usually pretty happining. Thorughbreeds in Grantville is kinda rough biker type bar.

Hershey is only about 10 minutes and HACC(the local community college) had a "eco system" type walking park that is pretty and nice.

Baltimore is only a little over an hour. and New Jersey is right around the corner you can see god's(Kevin Smith) shop in Red Bank in about 3 hours but be careful with Garden state Parkway you have to pay to get on and off I got a ticket.

Every saturday morning there is a big flea market in Middletown wich is about 15 miles from Harrisburg. York is 45 minutes and thats a college town.

BUT there is a great store called Divine Light book store in Steelton He has and can get anything tarot cards to crystals satanism to christianity.

Let me know when you start getting closer to comming out and around where you are staying and I will get you guys some directions on places.

Sorry I am so winded the only person that talks to me at home is my 18 year old dog...but what conversations we have :)

I live in Walnutport which is about 25 miles out of Allentown in the Lehigh Valley. I don't know about the rest of PA, but I would never recommend any Pagans move my neck of the woods. The people around here are just as xenophobic as can be. I'm totally out of the broom closet at work (I'm lucky enough to work in a Borders), but I wouldn't dare tell my neighbors I'm Pagan for fear of reprisals. I think the whole area is completely negative and has been for my entire existence here (I've never lived outside of PA).

... not that I wouldn't mind the company of course. heh
